Enhanced Detector Stability Improves GPC/SEC Results. In standard GPC/SEC, after column separation, a concentration detector is typically used to record a signal proportional to the relative concentration of the sample. As most synthetic polymers are not UV active, a Differential Refractive Index (DRI) detector is commonly used for this task. A new technical note investigates how TESTA’s enhanced DRI detector can reduce baseline drift and improve the accuracy of results from any GPC/SEC system.
