The popularity of our flowmeters to monitor and validate liquid flow processes is only matched by the desire of our customers to acquire the knowledge and skills to best use these devices. Earlier this month we ran a training workshop for users wanting to make the most out of their non-invasive TESTA flowmeters and ancillary options. The 1.5-day course covered our full range of flowmeters optimised to operate from the µL/min range to several hundreds of mL/min. Best practices for setting-up and using the flowmeters was presented and time allocated to allow participants to practice all aspects of flowrate determination. Applications in aqueous and organic solvents were demonstrated as well as use of our flowmeter for troubleshooting and validation of HPLC system and complex flow applications. After the workshop, a participant said: “It was surprising for me how an apparently simple instrument can deliver valuable information far beyond the pure flowrate. I learned a lot from this training, I feel now much better able to exploit the possibilities of this technique to the max,” while a second participant simply stated, “Thank you to the friendly, helpful TESTA trainers, it was great!.”

Our in-house technical team has produced a new instructional video on how to set -up and operate our popular range of liquid flowmeters. The informative 5-minute video describes all components of the flowmeter system and then takes you step-by-step through set-up, connection to a liquid chromatography system / chromatography data system and how to collect and save real-time experimental data using the supplied flowmeter operating app.
